Bananas are not green: After reading too much Leftish/activist Literature this week, I came up with the idea of making this poster. And I also read this article about tropical fruit and their carbon footprint. I know chiquita has the rainforest alliance but it seems a bit strange to protect the rainforrest and destroy it by shipping those bananas all over the planet.
Big fruit companies need to start thinking about green-shipping if this is possible at all!
I hope I made you aware of this fact, now go and enjoy your local food ;-)
